We have continued with unity and we have seen the movements of the earth. These are four: Rotation:
It is a movement that effects the Earth turning on the terrestrial axis, that cuts to the surface in two points called poles. This turn is from west to east, that is, for an observer located in the space above the North Earth pole.
Revolution
Changes in the anle at which sun rays strinke the surface
Changes in the length of daylight.
Thermal inertia.
Procession
The procession of equinoxes is due to the movement of the extension of the earth for the movement of the force exerted by the Earth- Sun system as a function of the inclination of the earth's rotatio axis with respect to the sun.
Nutation
Nutation is the periodic oscillation of the Earth's pole around its middle position in the celestial sphere, due to the external forces of gravitational attraction between the Moon and the Sun with the Earth. This oscillation is similar to the movement of a spinning top.
At the end of the class we have formed the groups in which we will work during the term.
